Job summary

Impellam Group in the Carolinas West region seeks a Project Manager I to oversee distribution substation optimization projects and act as a unifying leader across cross-functional teams. The PM-I will manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and communications for a portfolio of low-to-moderate risk projects.

Responsibilities include staffing the project team, coordinating with internal and external groups, and ensuring adherence to PMCoE standards.

Qualifications

• Utility experience required.
• Electric distribution or transmission experience preferred.
• EPC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create / Staff / Lead Project Team - PM-I's provide leadership, oversight, direction, delegation, and coordination with multiple internal and external organizations.
• Establish and maintain communications among stakeholders; lead project meetings and report status.
• Plan assigned project scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality; define work, estimate, schedule, and procurement strategies.
• Execute projects within approved scope, cost and schedule; manage deliverables, risk, quality and integration.
