Aldridge Electric seeks an Estimator- Substation (Utility) to join our Libertyville team. The role collaborates with estimating and project teams to coordinate plan procurement, bid preparation and bid review with our estimating administrators.

You will develop accurate takeoffs, create BOMs, obtain quotes from subcontractors, and ensure timely, compliant bids while upholding Aldridge safety standards. Travel to the Illinois headquarters may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of estimating experience.
• Bluebeam and Excel experience preferred.
• Ability to read prints and perform accurate takeoffs.
• Strong time management and prioritization; meeting deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interact with all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Understand plans, specs and provide accurate takeoffs.
• Create BOMs for supplier quotations and coordinate quotes.
• Reach out to subcontractors and suppliers for quotes.
• Review bid documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and summarize bids for leadership review.
• Ensure safety culture and compliance in bid processes.
• Travel to our Illinois headquarters for training/bid reviews if required.
• Utilize Agile tools and participate in pre-bid meetings.
