  • Prepare and review complete substation physical design packages including: single‐line diagrams, substation physical layouts, substation equipment specifications, conduit and cable plans and details, grounding grid plan and details, lightning protection and yard lighting plans, and bills of materials.
  • Perform and review substation studies and calculations including: short circuit, busbar force, grounding, lightning analysis, conduit fill and voltage drop.
  • Provide construction support and inter-disciplinary coordination.
  • Perform QA/QC for substation project deliverables across multiple offices.
  • Grow, lead, mentor, supervise, and direct a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Develop and lead project pursuits and manage client relationships
  • Support bid and execution phase design and consulting services.

  • Proven project leadership: managing multi-disciplinary teams, multiple projects, delivering on time, managing budgets.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, as needed, to achieve agreed goals and results.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to interact with clients, regulatory bodies, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ability to represent the company credibly.
