A global engineering firm is seeking an Engineer-Level 4 (Substation) to lead substation projects from conception to execution. Qualifications

• At least 15 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned substation projects from conception to execution.
• Collaborate with Early-Stage Project Managers to support engineering requirements and scope.
• Secure engineering consulting resources from approved suppliers.
• Coordinate with project team members to develop and secure a substation site.
• Competitively source and select engineering and construction services.
• Represent internal and external interests in meetings with management.
• Support Transmission Services during interconnection documentation reviews.
• Communicate with transmission owners/operators to meet requirements.
• Manage long-lead material orders to minimize risks.
• Assist ISC with substation project scope of work creation.
• Support Estimating with updates and scope modifications.
• Work with project engineering resources on work plans.
• Support project commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with Legal on regulatory filings.
