Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Substation Drafter to prepare civil and physical electrical drawings for high voltage substations and renewable energy interconnections.

The role will involve drafting, review, and collaboration with engineers in Raleigh/Charlotte, NC or Madison, WI. You will work on general arrangements, plan/elevation views, grounding and foundation plans, and cable layouts, ensuring drawings meet department standards and project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn substation and utility industry drafting standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
