A leading electric utility company is seeking a Substation Design Oversight Engineer in Akron, Ohio. This role involves overseeing substation design projects, conducting engineering reviews, and managing multiple projects while maintaining a strong safety culture. Candidates should possess a relevant engineering degree and effective communication skills, alongside experience with tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Engineering experience is required.
• A Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certificate is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and Cascade is a plus.
• Must embrace a safety culture.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple substation design projects.
• Conduct engineering design reviews for substation projects.
• Document and enter design issues in the design accuracy tracker database.
• Support project schedule compliance review meetings.
