Job summary

PG&E is seeking skilled construction workers for field assignments across its service territory. Responsibilities include digging trenches, loading equipment, and performing construction work in powerhouses and switchyards. You will use hand and power tools and follow supervisor directions.

Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and hold a CA Class C license from day one. Ability to work in all weather, travel, and lift 50 lbs is required; PowerPathway graduates, military experience,

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School diploma or GED required; PowerPathway program a plus.
Valid California Class C Driver's License by Day 1 of hire.
Ability to work in all weather extremes and travel across the PG&E territory.
Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must lift at least 50 lb and navigate uneven terrain.
Experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Dig trenches and holes in a safe manner.
Load and unload equipment, materials, and debris; maintain housekeeping per safety standards.
Perform construction work in powerhouses and switch yards across the service territory.
Use and maintain hand and power tools and equipment.
Follow directions of journeyman and/or supervisor.
Read and comply with company standards and procedures.
Work in a team environment and maintain safety at all times.
