Job summary

Pulse Doctors in the UK is supporting a hospital in Norfolk to recruit a Consultant in Paediatric Otolaryngology into a substantive, full-time post (10 sessions per week).

The role includes outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, and inpatient care for paediatric ENT patients, with dedicated SPA, teaching, and leadership responsibilities. Participation in the ENT on-call rota and MDT collaboration are expected within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register in Otolaryngology (ENT).
• Evidence of subspecialty experience or fellowship in Paediatric Otolaryngology.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level specialist care in paediatric otolaryngology.
• Deliver outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, and inpatient care for paediatric ENT patients.
• Perform a range of paediatric ENT procedures within specialist expertise.
• Participate in MDT meetings and shared decision-making.
• Support development and delivery of paediatric ENT pathways and services.
• Participate in ENT on-call rota where required by the Trust job plan.
• Supervise, train, and support junior doctors and MDT members.
• Engage in governance, audit and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching, training and educational programmes.
• Undertake SPA activities including CPD, appraisal, revalidation and service development.
