High Point is hiring for Transitional Support Services Programs (TSS) with LPN or RN licensure in Massachusetts. Part-time, 4 hours per day on Saturdays and Sundays, with multiple shift options in the morning. Benefits include medical, vision, disability, and more.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA.
• Utilize Nursing process to meet best practice standards.
• Conduct counts of controlled substances at shift change and sign register.
• Monitor vital signs and assess withdrawal signs per protocol.
• Administer routine and PRN medications per nursing standards.
• Understand medication uses, side effects and interactions.
• Monitor and treat patients with comorbid psychiatric/medical conditions.
• Document information per alcohol/drug protocols and medical/psychiatric conditions.
• Practice time management effectively.
• Other duties as assigned by Nurse Manager/Director.

Pay Rate:
LPN $34 - $42 per hour
RN $43 - $52.50 per hour
Schedule: Part Time (4 hours per day Saturday and Sunday)

Mandatory 4 hours per day every Saturday and Sunday
Hours are flexible and can be:
8am-12pm
830am-1230pm
9am-1pm
930am-130pm
10am-2pm
1030am-230pm
11am-3pm
1130am-330pm
12pm-4pm
1230pm-430pm

Our Transitional Support Services Programs (TSS) offer co-ed services that bridges the gap between detox and step-down services to residential after-care.

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Nurse Responsibilities

• Comply with the Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patients and HIPAA Regulations
• Assure patient care meets best practice standards utilizing the Nursing process
• Conduct controlled substance count and syringe count (when applicable) at the change of every shift (with one on-coming and one off-going nurse) and sign the controlled substance register
• Monitor vital signs and assess withdrawal signs and symptoms per protocol
• Administer routine and PRN medications according to the nursing standards of care
• Understands medication uses, side effects and food-drug interactions
• Monitor and treat patients who have a concomitant medical/psychiatric illness
• Document pertinent information according to the established alcohol/drug protocols as well as any psychiatric/medical conditions
• Utilizes techniques of time management effectively
• Other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager/Director of Nurses/Clinical Director/Program Director to ensure safe and appropriate operation of the units

Nurse Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts
