Job summary

Health Connect America seeks a Substance Use Disorder Therapist to join our Virginia team. You will work under licensed supervision, conduct assessments, facilitate groups and provide individual and family sessions for clients with addiction, while supporting program administration and client documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in VA.
Master’s degree in human services or related field.
VA-approved Resident in Counseling (LPC Resident) or LCSW-Supervisee.

Responsibilities

Perform intake screening and assist with assessments.
Handle program administration including psychosocial assessments and intake documentation.
Contribute to psychoeducational programming using appropriate modalities.
Lead clinical group processes using approved therapeutic interventions.
Conduct individual and family sessions as needed.
Coordinate weekly family education and related programs.
