Lutheran Social Services (LSS) in Chippewa Falls, WI, is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Counselor to provide individual and group counseling and coordinate treatment planning. This full-time role supports adults in a new residential program opening in 2026.

Required credentials include SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC with an associate degree in a related field; bachelor's preferred. Driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential.
• Associate's degree in a human services or corrections-related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of addiction, recovery, counseling, and case management principles.
• Experience with justice-involved or correctional populations preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group substance use counseling services.
• Complete assessments, screenings, referrals, and treatment planning.
• Deliver case management and coordinate community support services.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support clients in achieving recovery, stability, and personal goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
• Participate in clinical supervision, training, and professional development.
