Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year counseling experience.
• Master’s in Behavioral Science with 1 year counseling experience.
• Certification and 1 year supervision for related credentials.
• Experience with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
• Positive, non-judgmental attitude toward patients.
• satisfactory background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and eligibility interviews.
• Develop and review initial treatment plans with patients.
• Complete bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual and group counseling; coordinate services.
• Involve families in recovery when possible.
• Respond to grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
