Job summary

High Point Inpatient Campus in Hyannis, MA seeks Substance Use Clinician to deliver direct care, assessments, and counseling across all shifts. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology or related field approved by licensing/contracting, with licensure/certification current as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field approved by licensing/contracting.
• Experience in human service field; licensure or certifications current.
• Master's level clinician qualifications may apply; supervised counseling hours.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned caseload and provide direct patient care (assessment, counseling, discharge planning).
• Complete progress notes, group facilitation, and bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Coordinate aftercare referrals and connect patients with services.
• Document medical records accurately and timely; ensure confidentiality.
• Attend meetings and trainings; participate in MDT/Rounds; crisis intervention as needed.
