Job summary

Job Corps in Minot, North Dakota seeks a Substance Abuse Treatment Professional (TEAP Coordinator) to support the TEAP program, promote wellness initiatives, and ensure compliance with DOL, corporate, and center policies.

You will document student records, provide counseling and group sessions, coordinate with staff and community resources, and help develop SOPs for program components, while tracking program data and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification that meets minimum state licensing or certification requirements to practice in the state where the center is located.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the Wellness Program initiatives and functions.
• Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no confidentiality and manipulation of student information/data.
• Ensures proper documentation and accountability of students medical records.
• Provides prevention and intervention services and short-term treatment that will enhance healthy choices and well-being.
• Promotes healthy choices that will have a positive impact on students' physical and emotional well-being.
• Provides students with information and skills to make appropriate health care choices and demonstrate acceptable workplace behavior.

Education

Active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification

Bachelor's degree preferred
