Job summary

New Season is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor (Master's Degree Required) in Mobile, AL. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling, complete assessments and treatment plans, and maintain substantial direct patient contact.

Collaborate with medical staff to deliver evidence-based care in a supportive environment. Eligible for tuition and licensure reimbursement, Day One benefits, and an employee referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• QSAP I eligible.
• Must obtain Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC) certification within 30 months of hire.
• Substance use disorder or behavioral health experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family substance abuse counseling.
• Complete patient assessments, intakes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain at least 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients on recovery, relapse prevention, and treatment goals.
• Support patients throughout every stage of their recovery journey.
