The position supports chemical dependency counseling services for offenders, under supervision, with a focus on recovery, treatment planning, and documentation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, licensure as an LCDC or CCJP, and at least two years of related experience. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of wage-earning substance abuse treatment experience is preferred.
• Must maintain licensure or certification for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning chemical dependency counseling programs for offenders.
• Coordinate delivery of counseling services for individuals with substance use histories.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using valid assessment tools to guide treatment plans.
• Participate in Individual Treatment Plans based on assessments and collateral information.
• Provide counseling and recovery skills training within program standards and procedures.
• Maintain offender records and compile data and reports as required.
• Develop Individual Progress Summaries reflecting evaluation results and participation quality.
