Job summary

Wood Violet Recovery in Dodgeville, WI is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) for full-time clinical work, providing individual counseling and leading group sessions.

You will maintain timely clinical documentation, participate in treatment planning, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support clients on their recovery journey. A Wisconsin CSAC and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active CSAC in Wisconsin (required).
• At least 1 year of experience with substance use disorders.
• Valid WI Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily group substance use, educational, process, and recovery-focused groups.
• Provide timely counseling sessions to an assigned caseload of clients.
• Develop and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients while supporting their individual recovery goals.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Encourage client engagement while promoting a safe, supporting therapeutic environment.

We're looking for a Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) who is passionate about helping people grow through connection, education, and meaningful therapeutic experiences. This role provides both individual counseling and group facilitation, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while helping them develop the skills and insight needed for lasting recovery.

Schedule:

• Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday
• 8:30am–5:00pm

What You'll Do:
