Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is accepting resume for a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide services to our active-duty members and their dependents at Navy Hospital, Camp Pendleton, California.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $82,000. - $87,360.The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Requirements

• Graduate from a behavioral science program with specialized training in substance abuse andchemical dependency treatment.
• 2 years within the preceding 4 years as a Substance Abuse Counselor in a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program which includes male and female clients.
• Maintain a national certification credential by the National Association of Alcohol and DrugAbuse Counselors or National Board of Certification Counselors or International Certification &Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Certified Addiction Counselor duties, in accordance with assignment and consistentwith the scope of practice for profession, including but not limited to, medical care treatment and patienteducation in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner.
• Obtain or provide relevant information that will facilitate treatment and assist in developing programs.
• Provide assessment of substance abuse and addiction.
• Identify and document medical consequences of alcohol and other substance use, including withdrawal anddetoxification.
• Facilitate the placement and management of patients in appropriate levels of care within the continuumofcare model of the treatment of addictive disorders.
