Job summary

New Season Treatment Centers is hiring a Licensed Clinician to supervise and coach a team of counselors, collaborating with a medical director, program director, counselors, and nurses to identify and meet patients' clinical needs.

The role focuses on intake, treatment planning, counseling across individual and group settings, and ensuring timely documentation while promoting recovery within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Masters degree and licensure as specified by state requirements.
• Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and groups.
• Develop psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans on schedule.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them promptly.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment options, health issues, and recovery steps.
• Conduct Urine Drug Screens and verify patient identification.
• Safeguard proprietary data and support the program's mission.

For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers has been a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers that specialize in providing safe, quality, and best-in-class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder ("OUD").

As a Licensed Clinician, you’ll supervise and coach a team of Substance Abuse Counselors who are eager to learn and grow professionally. You’ll work with a collaborative treatment team consisting of our medical director, program director, counselors, and nurses to identify and meet the patient's clinical needs and assist in their overall well-being.

Essential Functions

• Work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
• Complete patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
• Identify any clinical/case management needs and work to address those needs.
• Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Perform at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact weekly through individual and/or group counseling sessions.
• Educate patients in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery.
• Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
• Always act in the best interests of the program and company; honor, support, and protect the proprietary data and rights of the company.
