Job summary

Community Medical Services is seeking an outpatient counselor in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on delivering individual and group counseling, building personalized treatment plans, and coordinating care with a team.

Qualifications

  • Education in counseling or related behavioral-health field.
  • Active Ohio license in good standing as CDCA/LCDC II/III or LICDC.

Responsibilities

  • Run individual sessions and group counseling that move the needle.
  • Build personalized treatment plans for real people, not templates.
  • Track progress and adjust care as clients grow.
  • Partner with other providers to wrap clients in support.
  • Involve family and support systems when helpful.
  • Keep clinical knowledge sharp and documentation airtight.
  • Be the calm, knowledgeable point person when a case needs it.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:15 AM–1:15 PM — home by early afternoon, every day.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/ GED, Associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related behavioral-health field, as required for the applicable license.
  • Licensure: Active Ohio license in good standing as an CDCA, LCDC II/III, or LICDC
