SLB in Mobile, AL seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support OneSubsea Services Project Management and Field teams. The role develops innovative, cost-effective techniques and sustains improvements to meet project objectives in a timely manner.

You will lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, create technical reports, and provide field support, including offshore visits when required. Emphasis on safety and quality.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years design, build, manufacture or operation experience with mechanical control systems (IWOCS, LARS, subsea hydraulics).
• Familiarity with subsea XTs and XT tooling is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct work safely and comply with company policies and HSE initiatives.
• Identify and organize requirements; apply usability procedures and principles.
• Analyze, design, develop, maintain products and assist in commercialization.
• Engineer products/systems for testing; design tests; document results and present to customers.
• Provide timely corrective actions on defects and product quality issues; support field personnel.
• Create and maintain product documentation; provide field/customer support via InTouch and training as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technicians; prioritize multiple projects and manage risks.
• Travel to OneSubsea locations and offshore as required; participate in all HSE training.
