Job summary

Noble Corporation seeks a Subsea Engineer to maintain and repair the BOP stack, control systems, and subsea equipment. You will plan evolutions with rig management, perform critical calculations, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related experience in hydraulics and fluid systems maintenance and repair.
  • Superior knowledge of BOPs and control systems and associated procedures.
  • Familiar with riser tensioners and CMC functions; wellhead equipment and running tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting, decision making, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Plan operations and evolutions for subsea systems and operations.
  • Organize and direct assistance teams for pulling the BOP stack.
  • Maintain overall drilling operation knowledge for assembling/disassembling equipment.
  • Interface with rig personnel during drilling operations.
  • Perform calculations (fluids, weights, depths) before spudding.
  • Install subsea equipment during drilling operations.
  • Maintain and repair subsea BOP stack and lower marine riser package.
  • Troubleshoot subsea and surface equipment; recommend corrective action.
  • Witness pressure tests and ensure safe evolutions.
  • Maintain spare parts records and system documentation.
