• Learn and apply Florida Building Code requirements, product approvals, and permitting procedures.
• Track permitting and submittal progress to support project schedules.
• Assist with resolving technical questions, documentation discrepancies, and permitting issues.

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a motivated, detail-orientedPermitting & Submittals Engineer to join our growing team in Fort Myers, Florida.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or an individual looking to build a career in the commercial construction industry.No prior professional experience is required! We are looking for someone with a strong engineering foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn.

You will work closely with our estimating, project management, and operations teams to support construction permitting, technical submittals, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and coordinate construction permit applications and technical submittals.

Review architectural drawings, engineering specifications, and project documentation.

Internship or academic project experience involving construction or engineering.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or construction management software.

Knowledge of construction drawings, permitting, or building codes.

Training and guidance will be provided.
