THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Submarine Operations Analyst to support the US Navy SHaREM program at SMWDC in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on assessing submarine readiness, sensors, and countermeasures in tactically relevant exercises, with responsibilities spanning planning, data analysis, and equipment maintenance.

A DoD Secret clearance is required or must be obtainable. The position entails on-site work at SMWDC in San Diego, with up to 20% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Generates plans that effectively and safely employ submarines in exercises.
• Validates submarine tactics for exercise scenarios.
• Observes and collects data/logs of submarines participating in exercises.
• Uses pertinent data to reconstruct submarine tracks and tactical actions.
• Assesses the performance of submarine sensors, systems, weapons and countermeasures related to objectives.
• Coordinates the assembly, installation, interfacing, removal and testing of tracking equipment used during exercises.
• Interprets schematics and resolves issues with tracking equipment during exercises.
• Ensures restoration and operation of shipboard equipment after removal of tracking equipment.
