Job summary

Clearwater Analytics seeks a Client Servicing Subject Matter Expert to act as a domain expert for investment accounting and client servicing. You will translate client requirements into system configurations, design processes, and SOPs, while collaborating with global teams to resolve inquiries and drive product enhancements.

The role emphasizes mentoring, training material creation, and continuous improvement of processes, tools and resources to improve client onboarding and self-service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance-related field
• 5+ years’ relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into system applications, process design, implementation materials and SOPs.
• Provide accurate, timely, and clear responses to inquiries in written and verbal: simplify complex topics.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve client inquiries and financial/accounting topics.
• Strategize with development teams to enhance product, onboarding, delivery speed, and create scalable processes.
• Mentor and train colleagues, designing training materials and SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools and resources within the team.
• Manage assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources.
• Contribute to knowledge base and SOP documentation to promote client self-service.

Job Summary

Client Servicing Subject Matter Experts are domain experts in a specific area or topic, operating as a liaison between our clients and internal teams. They develop and apply expertise on the Clearwater systems and processes to evaluate requirements and configure solutions to meet a wide range of investment accounting and reporting needs for Clearwater's largest clients. Regarded as trusted experts in their area, they have the confidence to make decisions and contribute to client success, whilst being able to provide instruction to team members regarding their area of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Translate the client’s business requirements into specific system applications, process design, implementation materials/training and SOPs.
• Trusted to deliver accurate, timely and thorough responses to any inquiry in both written and verbal contexts, with the ability to simplify multiple complex topics.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with a global team to accurately resolve complex problems and client inquiries in their area of specialism, as well as broader financial or accounting topics.
• Strategize with development teams to enhance our product offering, improve our client on-boarding experience, shorten delivery periods, and develop repeatable, scalable processes.
• Spread your knowledge by regularly providing mentorship/training, as well as designing and implementing training materials and SOPs.
• Proactively work towards continuous improvement of processes, procedures, tools and resources within the team.
• Manage and consistently complete assigned projects and coordinate necessary resources.
• Key contributor for knowledge base and SOP documentation, leading efforts to drive client self-service.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance-related field, or experience in relevant area of specialization.
• 5+ years’ relevant experience.
