Job summary

Jersey Mike’s in Wauwatosa, WI is seeking a Crew Member to deliver friendly guest service and help prepare high‑quality subs. This role may work front‑of‑house, back‑of‑house, or both, depending on daily needs and traffic.

You will prepare food to our standards, slice meats and cheeses, assemble subs, maintain food safety, and operate kitchen equipment and the POS. Team collaboration, reliability, and flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays) are essential. Training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging, and efficient service to guests in person and over the phone.
• Prepare food according to company standards, including slicing meats and cheeses, assembling subs, and preparing fresh ingredients.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Operate kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems as trained.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with prep work, restocking, and cleaning tasks.
• Adapt to varying responsibilities during shifts based on business needs.
