Job summary

Alcanza is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Fredericksburg Clinical Research site as a Sub-Investigator. You will assist the Principal Investigator with medical management, patient assessments, and coordinating study activities in a multi-site Phase I-IV research program.

The role requires a Master's degree with 2+ years of clinical experience, an active state license, BLS/ACLS certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Active license to practice as an advanced practice professional in the state of practice.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Sub Investigator duties under the Principal Investigator, ensure IRB protocols are followed and consent is obtained.
• Conduct physical exams, medical history reviews, vital signs, and other protocol procedures.
• Coordinate daily clinical research activities and staff training per SOPs, GCP, and FDA/ICH guidelines.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance throughout the study.
