Job summary

Northwood Hospitality LLC is seeking a Barback to support the bartenders and the Food & Beverage team in a luxury hotel setting in New York. You will help keep the bar fully stocked, clean, and organized to ensure guests receive prompt, attentive service.

Responsibilities include stocking liquor and supplies, assisting with setup and breakdown, maintaining sanitation, and coordinating with teammates to uphold high service standards throughout shifts.

Qualifications

  • Assist with inventory, deliveries, and storage of beverage supplies.

The Barback supports bartenders and the Food & Beverage team by ensuring the bar is fully stocked, clean, organized, and prepared to provide exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock and replenish liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
  • Assist bartenders with setup, breakdown, and service throughout the shift.
  • Replace empty bottles, ice, glassware, and other supplies promptly.
  • Remove trash, empty glassware, and maintain clean workstations.
  • Follow all hotel sanitation, safety, and responsible beverage service standards.
  • Provide professional and courteous assistance to guests and team members.
  • Assist with inventory, deliveries, and storage of beverage supplies as needed.
  • Maintain the high service and presentation standards expected in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift and move bar supplies, work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate a professional, guest-focused attitude.
