Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC is seeking a Sub Assembly Group Lead (1st Shift) for the Rolling Stock manufacturing facility. You will coordinate daily tasks, assign work, and monitor progress to ensure efficient operations.

The role requires prior team leadership, Siemens Mobility sub-assembly experience, and familiarity with SAP or ERP systems to access drawings and BOMs. Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30am–4:00pm. Benefits included.

Position Overview:

As a Group Lead in our Electrical Sub-Assembly Department, you will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks and work assignments for team members. You will closely monitor manufacturing progress and provide support to your assigned employees to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Shift:Monday - Thursday, 5:30am - 4:00pm

What your day will look like:

• Help Production supervisor define key production work steps, sequences, and durations and setting up work scope per station or per cell basis.
• Assist preparing Standardized work instructions
• Coordinating work schedules with operational goals
• Implementing manufacturing improvements, complex process changes, and technology changes
• Providing critical process control guidance to production, maintenance, and quality control to improve the dimensional accuracy and overall quality of our products.
• Ensuring all safety measure are followed.
• Escalate issues to manager or appropriate support group.

To thrive in this role, you have:

• Prior experience leading a team
• Prior Siemens Mobility sub-assembly experience
• Experience prototyping new assemblies.
• You’ve used SAP or ERP similar software to look up the information like drawings & BOM.

The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC is $20.70/hr - $25.25/hr, plus an additional 10% for shift differential.The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate\'s experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $20.70/hr - $25.25/hr per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
