Job summary

Augustine Institute is seeking a part-time Student Worker to join the Florissant Studios. You will support filming setup and takedown, serve as a Production Assistant on set, assist with casting, and contribute to scripting and ideation for upcoming projects.

Additional duties include hospitality for donors, quality control of podcasts, and coordination with graduate students. Perfect for students pursuing film or media studies who want hands-on studio experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS365 (Outlook, Word and Excel) and Adobe products is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative teamwork abilities are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to follow instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filming set up and take down as needed for various productions.
• Serve as a Production Assistant on set, supporting set dressing, note taking for directors, craft services, and talent coordination.
• Assist Producers with casting support as needed.
• Provide writing support and contribute to scripting and ideation for upcoming projects.
• May be asked to perform as an Extra on camera during production.
• Provide hospitality to donors or visitors at the Studios Carriage House.
• Handle QC of Studios content focusing on podcasts and original shows.
• Assist with Studios cleaning and upkeep.
• Act as liaison between Studios and Graduate Students to promote casting calls.
