Job summary

Jewelry Television is seeking a Stagehand/Grip for a 24/7 live studio environment with potential on-location work. You will build, move, and prep sets and grip gear, assist lighting, and coordinate with the Lighting Director and crew.

This role demands strong multi-tasking, dependable communication, and willingness to adapt to changing show requirements; candidates must lift up to 50 lbs and work in studio and field environments.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of studio equipment including sets, props, cameras and lighting equipment.
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must build and maintain good working relationships with a diverse group.
• Willingness to adapt to varying show or shoot needs.

Responsibilities

• Routinely lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Set up, maintain and change show setups and backdrops.
• Read and understand a stage plan or layout.
• Correctly produce, handle, transport, use and store items.
• Maintain storage area and inventories.
• Assist as Grip on remote shoots off site.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
