Job summary

Gateway Studios & Production Services is seeking an experienced Painter to independently run projects from start to finish. The role involves finishing wood, steel, plastics, and other materials in a paint booth using HVLP guns and a pressure pot, with prior experience required.

Responsibilities include planning, inventory control, and maintaining a safe workspace. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate shop paint spraying equipment, air compressors, and related materials.
• Able to breakdown a paint gun and perform proper maintenance.
• Able to mix different types of paint and finishes.
• Understand basic shop safety terminology and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Paint set carts, caddies, truss, and other projects with finish materials.
• Plan projects and manage time to meet production schedules.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and paint booth; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Attend and comply with workplace policies and attendance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
