Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an energetic audio production assistant to collaborate with hosts and producers on content planning and execution. You will support talent on show production, assist engineers with FCC compliance, and help craft production elements such as bumpers and sound effects.

Proficiency in editing software (Goldwave, Pro Tools, Adobe Audition) and strong communication will help you succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on content plan and execution with hosts.
• Support talent on show production and log fulfillment.
• Coordinate with show producers on news, ideas, and audio.
• Work with marketing on contests and sponsorships.
• Assist engineers to keep FCC compliance.
• Operate a radio board and manage audio levels.
• Create production elements like bumpers and sound effects.
• Brainstorm show segments and production ideas.
• Source contributors and interviewees.
• Post show updates on social media.
• Edit audio cuts and entire hours for shows.
• Maintain audio archives and respond to audience feedback.
• Edit using Goldwave, Pro Tools, and Adobe Audition.
• Other assigned tasks.
