News24 (formerly Sky News Australia) in Dallas is seeking a Studio Manager to run studio and technical operations for a US production hub. You will set up and run the studio(s), support hosts and guests, manage the floor during live broadcasts and recordings, keep equipment working, and be the first point of call for fixes on the ground.
You will work largely on your own with broad broadcast and technical skills, coordinating with Sydney teams across time differences.

The broadcast is directed remotely from our Sydney headquarters, so we need someone who can do the work on the ground, not just manage it. You will set up and run the studio or studios, support hosts and guests, manage the floor during live broadcasts and recordings, keep equipment working, and be the first point of call for fixing problems when something goes wrong. From a technical point of view, you will run our US productions largely on your own, across a large time difference, with support from producers on the ground and remote Engineering, IT, and Operations support from our Sydney teams. This role suits someone with broad broadcast and technical skills, and the confidence to work independently and make the call on the day. Reports to: Deputy Head of Operations
