Job summary

Midtown Athletic Club is seeking a Studio Instructor to teach a variety of fitness classes across boutique studios. You’ll coach, motivate, and engage members, delivering experiences that energize and challenge them while building a loyal community.

Qualified candidates maintain at least one nationally recognized Group Fitness or Personal Training certification and bring a passion for crafting inspiring experiences.

• Love of coaching and movement with ability to motivate others.
• Experience delivering experiential fitness classes and building community.

Midtown is searching for a Studio Instructor to teach and motivate our members to achieve their goals at Midtown! With multiple boutique studios under one roof, we offer education and programs that promote the ability to lead a variety of classes across a range of unique spaces and provide an opportunity to build your career in fitness. The Position: What you’ll do: Blaze a trail at Midtown Athletic Club. We believe in coaching people and taking our members from A to B. Midtown coaches are as excited to learn as they are to teach. Our associates are encouraged to think of Midtown as a place to build their career. Our instructors are equal parts performer and instructor—and bring their passions to life in our signature programs. You will lead classes with your own unique style and personality, creating experiences that engage, energize, and challenge our members.

Studio Instructor Responsibilities

Studio Instructor Requirements

• A passion for crafting inspiring experiences
• A love of coaching and movement
• Maintain at least one nationally recognized Group Fitness or Personal Training certification

Compensation: $50–$70 per class, based on experience, qualifications, and the variety of certifications held
