Job summary

Primer (Microschools) is seeking a Studio Guide to partner with the Primer Leader in creating a joyful, safe, and well-run learning environment. You will support students academically, emotionally, and socially, actively participating in instruction, culture, and operations to maintain routines and calm, positive classroom interactions.

You will help with small-group instruction, prepare materials for Pursuits, and collaborate daily with the campus team, ensuring reliable and proactive support

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working with children.
• Must be willing to report to work in person.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Warm, calm presence with children.
• Reliable, consistent, and proactive.
• Comfortable assisting with instruction.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support a safe, predictable classroom culture.
• Build positive relationships with students.
• Lead and support literacy and math small group instruction.
• Prepare materials and help run Pursuits. Primer's interdisciplinary curriculum for applied learning.
• Notice student needs and communicate quickly.
• Support the lead teacher by helping keep the classroom safe, orderly, and clean and by assisting with student supervision during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and transitions.
• Follow safety protocols and support coverage needs.
• Communicate clearly and follow through on tasks.
