Job summary

Heyday in Washington, DC is seeking a Lead Esthetician to coach and train the team, ensuring Heyday standards, technique and product education across all treatments.

You will work with Shop Leadership to hire and train new estheticians, maintain quality and consistency, and lead multiple priorities while building a culture that helps others succeed.

Qualifications

• Valid Esthetics License with at least two years of experience.
• Ability to build trust and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead estheticians train and coach team members on Heyday standards and techniques.
• Collaborate with shop leadership to hire and onboard new estheticians.
• Own quality and consistency across services and product usage.
• Host and participate in recruiting events, career fairs and school demos.
• Manage candidate pipeline, schedule interviews and practicums.
• Schedule and conduct new-hire esthetician training; provide ongoing coaching.
• Train hosts, estheticians and managers on product benefits and usage.
• Ensure clients receive product education and support launches.

About the Role:

As a Lead Esthetician, you are a coach, teaching everything from Heyday standards to industry wisdom to techniques in the treatment room. You work closely with Shop Leadership to hire and train new top Estheticians. Lead Estheticians are leaders within their shops as they own quality and consistency and ensure all team members are trained on products, enhancements, and protocol.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in hosting and setting up recruiting events, including career fairs and school demos.
• Manage candidate pipeline and schedule interviews and practicals
• Schedule and conduct new-hire esthetician training
• On-going training and coaching with ST’s
• Train hosts, estheticians, and managers on product benefits and usage.
• Ensure clients receive product education.
• Spearhead product and enhancement launches
• Monitor Esthetician retail performance and product performance
