Job summary

Old Queen Street Media in New York City is seeking a talented all-rounder to join our production team, responsible for producing, shooting and editing headline-grabbing interviews, documentaries and live broadcasts.

This hands-on role combines high-quality video production with ownership of the New York studio, overseeing setup, operation and troubleshooting of live streams and coordinating with newsroom editors to deliver breaking stories on multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience producing, shooting and editing high-quality video content including interviews and live broadcasts.
• Proven experience managing and operating live streams across multiple platforms.
• Ownership of a professional studio environment with production-ready equipment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day management, maintenance and operation of the New York studio.
• Lead the technical production of all live streams, ensuring reliable, high-quality broadcasts.
• Produce, shoot and edit interviews, documentaries, podcasts and other editorial video content.
• Configure and operate studio equipment including cameras, lighting, audio and live streaming systems.
• Ensure all studio equipment is maintained, tested and ready for use, proactively resolving issues.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to plan and deliver content around breaking news and major events.
• Optimise content for YouTube and other digital platforms to maximise reach and engagement.
• Help develop production workflows and continually improve quality and efficiency.
