Job summary

ALO is seeking an energetic team member to enhance guest experiences across the studio and retail spaces. You will greet guests, assist with class registrations, answer questions, and help maintain a pristine, brand-aligned environment.

In this role, you’ll support memberships and product sales, educate guests about classes and community offerings, and collaborate with a friendly team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and class times.

Responsibilities

Scheduling & Availability

Part‑time, non‑exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, based on the needs of the business, for a shift minimum of 4 hours. Full‑time, non‑exempt associates are expected to have open availability, 7 days a week, between 32–40 hours. All employees, without exception, are expected to be able to work during the company’s Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (the 1st week of January).

Compensation

The company’s associate base pay range is $18.00–$20.00 per hour in Washington, D.C. Associates are eligible to participate in the company’s monthly store incentive bonus program, which may increase total compensation. The base range is one component of the company’s total rewards package for retail employees, which may also include clothing allowance, employee discount, 401(k), competitive medical, dental, and vision plans, commuter benefits, and ALO Wellness Club.
