Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Studio Art. The successful candidate will teach classes that contribute to the contemporary focus of the Studio Art program and must have an active professional portfolio.
The position requires teaching one to three classes. A BFA/BA in Art and a minimum of three years of teaching experience are essential. Applicants need to be available to teach on campus and adapt to diverse educational needs.
Department of Art at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part‑time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Studio Art, three‑dimensional media. MSU Denver is NASAD accredited and offers study in interdisciplinary artistic practices as well as media‑specific coursework. The successful candidate will teach classes that contribute to the contemporary focus of our Studio Art program.
Affiliate faculty are part‑time, at‑will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, usually on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Affiliate faculty are not eligible for benefit coverage under the University’s benefit program. All such teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment. Qualified candidates will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
The final salary is based on the number of credit hours and the candidate’s degree (bachelor’s, master’s, or terminal) assigned at a rate determined by university policy. The rate of pay per credit hour assignment can be between $1,264 and $1,482.
