Job summary

Aramark on campus in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Student Food Services / Catering Worker. You will help prepare food, follow safety guidelines, and deliver friendly service to students and staff. Prior experience is not required; we welcome students ready to learn.

You will develop customer service and social skills while supporting daily operations and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This role offers flexible hours on campus and a pathway to grow with Aramark as you gain experience in food

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Must have or obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates guest service skills.

• Properly stores food in accordance with standards.
• Sets up workstations including prep tables and service counters.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions
• Properly stores food in accordance with standards
• Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations
• Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers? needs
• Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
