Job summary

Aramark in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Student Worker - Functional for UNLV Residential to assist with cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas in line with client and Aramark standards.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies; prior custodial experience is preferred. Uniforms and PPE may be required and daily duties may adjust to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment per OSHA and Aramark rules.
• Keeps areas clean and orderly to support safety and health.
• Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans areas to Aramark and client standards.
• Follows trash storage and disposal procedures and moves waste to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders.
• Secures the facility and manages access as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.

Job Description

The Student Worker - Functional cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets
