Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Student Worker - Student Ambassador in the Admissions & Recruitment office. The student worker will provide prospective students, parents, and visitors exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries, campus tours, and recruitment-related activities.

As a student worker, you will help introduce prospective students to our university and create a welcoming on-campus environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student with at least 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist students and parents visiting the Admissions & Recruitment office.
  • Lead campus tours and share insights about programs and campus life.
  • Assist in planning and executing campus recruitment events.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls and emails related to admissions and recruitment inquiries.
  • Scan and upload documents into the admissions database.
  • Provide support on various projects and administrative tasks within the Admissions & Recruitment department.
  • Contribute to social media content creation and posting.
  • Attend and table at off-campus recruitment fairs (mileage reimbursed).
