Job summary

Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, OH invites applications for a Student Worker in Latin American and Latine Studies. The 2-3 hour per week role supports the program director with website updates, outreach, and event promotion.

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

To assist the Director of the Latin American and Latine Studies Program (Dr. Nieto-Cuebas) with revising the website, sharing

information about and promoting the program, conducting student outreach, and organizing events.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Create / revise content for the website
• Create a flyer with information about the program
• Help with student outreach and recruitment

Qualifications:

The student must have:

• Knowledge of or interest in Latin America.
• Communicate well with students and professors
• Have very good writing skills
• Be responsible and professional
• Feel comfortable using Google Suite
• Have some experience with Canva (or similar applications) and/or be willing to learn.
