Job summary

Mission Graduates is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to support student health and wellness across school day and after‑school programming in San Francisco. The role reports to the Beacon Director and collaborates with school staff to deliver on SEL and youth development objectives.

The ideal candidate will hold a BA/BS or higher, demonstrate passion for working with youth, and be able to implement restorative practices, while engaging with families and community partners to strengthen support

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or higher required.
• Strong interest in education and socio-emotional learning.
• Understanding of youth development principle.
• Passion for working with students and youth; willingness to explore alternative teaching methods.
• Must relate effectively to diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Wellness Center during the school day with daily student check ins.
• Facilitate disagreements between students and utilize restorative practices.
• Coordinate lunch time support and program services with other CBOs and Beacon Wellness Team.
• Support with behavior issues and conflict resolution tactics.
• Support students' individual behavior needs by following student behavior plans.
