Lewis & Clark College invites applications for a student position to supervise the PSC-Weight room during hours of operation. This role supports campus wellness and safety in a busy fitness facility on campus.

Responsibilities include acting as a first responder in emergencies, CPR/AED certification, maintaining facility cleanliness, guiding equipment use, and completing daily tasks as scheduled. Work-study is required; position begins 2026-09-18 at the Portland campus.

Qualifications

• Work-study required
• Provide supervision to the PSC-Weight room during hours of operation
• Be prepared to respond to emergencies

Responsibilities

• Be a First Responder in case of an emergency.
• CPR/AED Cert. Req.
• Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the facility (i.e., cleaning up spills, picking up trash).
• Perform walk-thru of facility to monitor cleanliness and safety every 10-15 minutes.
• Provide assistance to those using the facility in matters of safety (i.e., spotting, machine tutorials).
• Complete daily facility tasks, as specified by the day of the week you are working.
