Job summary

San Dieguito Union High School District District Office in Encinitas, CA seeks a Vocational Developer to support district special education work programs, providing direct student support in classroom and workplace settings, and handling clerical, data entry and reporting tasks.

The role may serve multiple sites and support either the Transition Partnership Program (TPP) and/or the Workability I Program, depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience working directly with students is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent. College level coursework or vocational training is preferred.
• Valid Class C California Driver's License and a record of driving history issued by the California DMV.
• A valid First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students in classroom and workplace settings.
• Handle general clerical, data entry and reporting functions.
• Communicate with parents, staff and local business members to promote participation in work programs.
• Support multiple school sites and assist Transition Partnership Program (TPP) and/or Workability I as assigned.
