Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Student Utility Worker at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. This part-time role requires nights and weekends and offers a team-focused kitchen environment.

Duties include washing dishes, maintaining clean work areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with receiving. You will contribute to safe, efficient food service on campus.

Previous dishwashing experience is preferred; training is provided, with growth opportunities within AVI.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and dishwashing equipment.
• Able to perform physical tasks including bending, walking and lifting.
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Committed to a safe work environment.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, and pots using a dish machine or by hand.
• Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas.
• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Receive product from vendors and organize stock.
• Sort and remove trash and place in designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.
