Job summary

Angelo State University is seeking a student to assist Ram TV with editing, production, and scriptwriting for news packages, event coverage, and other media projects. The role also covers social media content creation, posting, and live-stream production setup.

You will help with equipment inventory, attend meetings, and contribute ideas while gaining hands-on experience in a university media program. Must be enrolled and ready to lift gear and operate studio equipment.

Qualifications

Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
Basic knowledge of video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro).
SLR video camera experience; photography experience can substitute for video work.

Responsibilities

Assist Ram TV Directors with editing, production, and scriptwriting for Ram TV programs (news packages, events, and other media).
Assist with social media content creation and posting.
Assist with live-stream productions, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment.
Assist with equipment inventory management and organization of production spaces.
Attend production meetings, collaborate with team members, and contribute ideas for programming and content development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
