Job summary

Hill 35 in Texas is seeking a dedicated school bus driver to transport students and staff safely along assigned routes. You will maintain order, follow schedules, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and communicate with administrators and families as needed.

The ideal candidate is 21 or older, holds a valid Texas Class B CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements, and has prior certified bus driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Class B CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Observe traffic laws and safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintain safety during boarding and alighting of students.
• Maintain discipline on buses and report incidents.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and arrange repairs as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and maintenance checks.
• Communicate with school personnel and parents about student behavior.
• Operate bus safely and responsibly on all extracurricular trips.
• Attend required safety training and serve as a positive role model.
• Follow district policies and wear required uniforms.
